Love Always

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

I Corinthians 13:6-7 (New International Version)

Love in the present tense and continuing.

When relationships turn toxic, one of they symptoms is the tendency to use “always” toward each other. You always leave the bed a mess. You always forget to take out the trash.

But when love is practiced it:

Always protects

Always trusts

Always hopes

Always perseveres

Love is always optimistic. 🙂
