20 more ways to Sow

Here are 20 more ways to sow…

  1. Invite a mother of toddlers over for coffee
  2. Listen to someone practice their presentation or speech
  3. Befriend someone who has a disability.
  4. Encourage another blogger by commenting on their blog.
  5. Mentor a child, a new coworker, a new member of your quilting group
  6. Grow flowers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.; share them with coworkers.
  7. Pray for those who mistreat you. (Luke 6:28)
  8. Give a dollar to a homeless person, even if they might squander it on alcohol.
  9. Forgive your brother, sister, parents, friends.
  10. Give others the benefit of the doubt.
  11. If you have a disability, befriend those who do not appear to have disabilities.
  12. Help put on a church service at a nursing home.
  13. Adopt a child who needs you.
  14. Visit the sick or lonely. Bring your knitting with you so they won’t feel that you are in hurry to leave.
  15. Tell others what God has done for you.
  16. Invite your kids’ friends over for a movie night. Make popcorn for them, and go read a book in another room.
  17. Contribute to a backpack drive, a shoe drive, a winter coat drive.
  18. Knit/crochet little hats for newborns.
  19. Knit mittens for students. Give them to the school secretary to pass to kids who need them.
