My name is Cindy Cleaver. I am a 50 something wife and mother. I work full time as a legal secretary. I like to scrapbook, quilt, and have recently begun to write. I have wanted to be a writer since I was a young child, but life has gotten in the way. In July 2011, I found a writers group by googling “Christian Writers Groups.” This brought up the Word Weavers of West Michigan. This group has been a blessing. If you want to be a writer, I recommend finding a local group for instruction, feedback and encouragement.

Wow… I am a legal assistant, too (worked in a law firm for a while, but now work from home for an attorney). It was July/Aug of 2011 that I first felt that I should write. Blown away by the coincidences here 🙂
I am afraid that if I worked from home, I would spend too much time writing, cleaning, etc., and not enough time working.
